As a retention initiative, Tempo started offering monthly fitness challenges for its members. My role was to develop the look and feel for each challenge, as well as to develop all of the associated marketing materials. In addition, I worked with our studio team directing photoshoots and video content to promote each challenge.

Bring the Heat Challenge

Inspired by the idea of heat mapping and how your body responds as it warms up during a workout, I developed a design system for this summer challenge

20 in 25 Challenge

The 20 in 25 New Years challenge was our biggest challenge to date. It featured 20 classes in 25 days, with 14 coaches. Wanting to highlight the idea of volume. I came up with a visual system that showcased our coaches and classes. For the challenge trophy, I drew inspiration from our 25lb weight plate.

For the larger monthly challenges we produced trailers. The 20 in 25 challenge was our largest one to date, so we wanted a video that spoke to the volume of workouts.

Summer Sculpt Challenge

The visuals for this challenge were inspired by sculptural poses and workouts. We hired a letter artist to create the logo lockup- with thicks and thins that nod to a sculptural sentiment. We did a photoshoot where we captured more dynamic poses and incorporated a yellow backdrop inspired by summer tones.

The result? The Tempo community loves the challenges.
